Privacy Policy

• We never ask for your card number, CVV, OTP, PIN or bank login. Please never share them with us.
• You can use the calculator and recommendation tool without an account.
• The spends you type in are used to work out your result. We don’t save them.
• We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers today.

SahiSwipe is a website that helps people in India compare credit card rewards. It is run by Raj Patel (“we”). This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use the site.

If you create an account:

• Your name and email address.
• Your password, which is handled by our sign-in provider and stored in hashed form. We can’t read it.
• The cards you save to My Cards. This means the card product, such as a card’s name, and never your card number.

When you use the tools:

• The merchant, category, amount and cards you choose are sent to our server to calculate your result. We don’t store them in our database or link them to your account. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs of requests.

If you report an issue:

• The card and problem you chose, any note you write, the result that was on your screen, and your account ID if you are signed in. Please don’t put personal details in the note.

Technical data:

• Your IP address is held briefly in memory to limit spam in issue reports, and may appear in hosting logs.

• To run your account, keep you signed in, and show your saved cards first in the card picker.
• To calculate rewards and recommendations.
• To send account emails, such as confirming your address or resetting your password.
• To fix wrong card data, using the reports people send us.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We only use what the site needs to work:

• Sign-in cookies, which keep you signed in.
• A setting saved in your browser that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies today. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run the site for us: our database and sign-in provider, our hosting provider, and our email delivery provider, which sends account emails. They may process data outside India.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
• A new owner, if SahiSwipe is ever sold or merged. They would have to keep protecting your data, and we’d tell you.

Links such as “Apply Now” take you to a bank’s own website. Anything you enter there is covered by that bank’s privacy policy, not this one.

We keep your account data until you ask us to delete your account, and issue reports for as long as they help us keep card data correct. You can remove saved cards yourself at any time in My Cards.

You can ask us to:

• Show you the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your account and personal data.
• Withdraw your consent, which may mean closing your account.
• Look into a complaint about how we handled your data.

To do any of these, contact us at sahiswipe@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with our response, you may be able to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We use encrypted connections and restrict access to personal data. No website can promise perfect security, so please use a strong password that you don’t use anywhere else.

SahiSwipe is meant for people aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
